What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in time is from 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 noon. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged depending on room availability.

Where is Ponderosa Golf Resort located?

How do I get to the resort?

From Batangas Port, take a ferry to Puerto Galera. Once you arrive, we can help arrange transportation from Balatero Port directly to the resort. The road is accessible by car, tricycle, or motorcycle. For more specific instructions, please visit our Location page.

Can you arrange transportation for us?

Do you offer parking?

Yes, we provide free on-site parking for all guests.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort, including guest rooms, and the restaurant.

Are pets allowed?

Is Ponderosa family-friendly?

Absolutely! Families are welcome, and we have activities and open spaces suitable for all ages.

Do you require a security deposit?

We collect a refundable incidental hold of ₱3,000 at check-in (cash or card pre-auth). This is released at checkout if no incidentals are charged.

Do you have play and stay packages?

What are your green fees?

Our green fees are ₱1,400 for 9 holes, and ₱2,000 for 18 holes, exclusive of caddy fees and tips. For more golf rates information, please refer here.

What are the golf course operating hours?

Our golf course is open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (weather permitting).

Do I need to be a member to play?

No membership is required. Walk-ins and day guests are welcome.

How do I book a tee time?

You can book your tee time at the clubhouse reception or by calling us directly. Advance booking is recommended, especially on weekends and holidays. Book a tee time here.

Do you offer golf lessons or clinics?

Yes! We offer one-on-one coaching and golf clinics suitable for all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to improve, our instructors can help.

Do you rent golf equipment?

Yes, rental clubs, golf carts, and caddies are available.

Is there a dress code for the course?

We recommend collared shirts and proper golf attire. Soft spikes or golf shoes are required on the course.

Can I host a golf tournament or group outing?

Yes, we welcome corporate events, charity tournaments, and friendly competitions. Our team can assist with packages, catering, and logistics.

Do you have a golf simulator?

Yes! Our golf simulator lets guests practice their swing or enjoy a fun indoor session, rain or shine.

Do you have a restaurant on-site?

Yes! Our restaurant serves local and international favorites, with open-air seating and breathtaking views of Puerto Galera.

Do you serve alcohol or cocktails?

Yes, our bar offers a selection of beers, wines, and signature cocktails — perfect for post-golf relaxation or sunset viewing.

Do you accommodate special dietary requests?

We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions with advance notice. Please inform our staff before your visit or when placing your order.

What other activities can guests enjoy?

Our restaurant has a billiards table that our guests can use. Aside from golf, guests can enjoy scenic walks, sunset viewing, and day trips to Puerto Galera’s beaches and dive spots. We are happy to arrange activities for you during your stay. We can also arrange an in-room massage session for you upon request.

Can I host an event or wedding at the resort?

Yes, our panoramic mountain setting makes Ponderosa an ideal venue for weddings, parties, and corporate events.

We have flexible indoor and outdoor spaces that can be arranged for meetings, private gatherings, or team-building activities.

Rooms & House Rules

Is smoking allowed in the rooms?

All guest rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

How many people can stay in one room?

Each room is designed for 2 persons. Additional persons may be accommodated with an extra charge, subject to availability of extra beds.

Are outside guests allowed?

Visitors are welcome but must register at the reception. For safety and privacy reasons, only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.

Do you provide daily housekeeping?

Yes, daily housekeeping service is included. If you prefer privacy, you may request “Do Not Disturb” and our staff will respect your space.

Are there quiet hours?

Yes, to ensure everyone’s comfort, quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Can we bring our own food or drinks?

Light snacks are fine, but we kindly request that guests refrain from bringing in heavy meals or cooking appliances. Our restaurant and bar are available for full dining options.

What happens if something in the room is damaged?

Any loss or damage to resort property may incur charges. We encourage guests to inform our staff immediately if something is accidentally broken so we can assist promptly.

Do you have curfews or gate closing hours?

The resort gate remains open for registered guests. However, we recommend returning before midnight for safety, as the mountain road can be dark after hours.

Can we request special arrangements (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)?

Absolutely! We’d love to make your stay more memorable. Let us know in advance, and we can help arrange decorations, cakes, or a private dinner with a view.
