Refund and Cancellation

Ponderosa Golf Resort Refund and Cancellation Policy - Updated April 28, 2026

1. Minimum Stay Requirements

To help us accommodate as many guests as possible during high-demand periods, the following minimum stays apply:

Regular weekends, holidays, and long weekends	2 nights
Peak season: Holy Week, Christmas, New Year	3 nights

2. Cancellation & Refund Schedule

We understand plans can change. Refunds are based on how much notice you give us before your check-in date:

7 to 14 days	50% refund	50% charged
Less than 7 days or no-show	No refund	100% charged

Free cancellation is permitted up to 11:59 PM Philippine Standard Time, 15 days prior to your check-in date.

The 50% penalty period begins at 12:00 AM, 14 days before arrival.

All refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days.

How to Count the Days

If your check-in is on Friday the 20th:

Day 7	Friday the 13th	Last day for 50% refund	50% refund

House Rules

“We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 15 days prior to your check-in date. For example, if your check-in is on a Friday, you must cancel by the Thursday two weeks prior to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 to 7 days of arrival will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, or no-shows, are non-refundable.”

This wording removes the counting confusion guests typically have and clearly marks day 15 as the final free cancellation point.

3. Rebooking & Date Changes

Scenario	Rule
Peak period bookings	No date changes within 14 days of arrival
Standard period bookings	Date changes are subject to availability; rate adjustments may apply

4. Weather & Force Majeure

If a government-issued Red Alert or severe weather warning makes travel to Puerto Galera unsafe, you may reschedule your stay within 6 months of your original booking date, even if the cancellation would otherwise be non-refundable.

Please note:

Rescheduled dates are subject to availability.
Seasonal rate differences may apply if rebooking into a peak period.
No cash refunds are issued under this provision. Rescheduling only.
